Make that delicious recipe. For real! Yeah, I know it is best to have them all, but when you have 3 babies wanting chocolate cookies, one must improvise!
So, I’ll begin by saying My Martha would probably disapprove but, Papa made some dang cookies WITHOUT some key ingredients!

Feel free to use this PERFECT recipe. Sometimes, you just can’t be perfect. But this recipe will make you think twice before running to the grocery. Although, we love our partners at Rouses Markets Okay, so let’s get started.
Pre-Heat oven to 375 degrees
First you need:
- A big bowl.
- A wooden spoon.
- A cookie sheet.
- Parchment paper.
Now, MY ingredients:
- 1 Cup of Softened butter.
- 1 Cup of White sugar.
- 1 Teaspoon Baking soda
- 2 Teaspoons salt
- 3 Cups All-Purpose flour
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Cups Chocolate chips
Prep:
First, you cream together your softened butter and sugar on medium high with you mixer.
Once incorporated with one another add in your salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Add in eggs one by on medium speed.
Slowly start to add flour on slow/med slow.
Continue to mix until a yummy dough forms.
Now for my kids’ favorite part! Add in chocolate chips!
Once the batch is all mixed together well, start to drop a small spoonful on your parchment lined cookie sheet.
Make sure to give about a half inch space in between each cookie.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 12-13 minutes or until they are lightly golden!
Yields: 24ish
