Papa’s Sloppy Papi
Everyone loves a Sloppy Joe.
This is different than the ole’ lunchroom sandwich. This takes the traditional and allows you to completely make the sauce from scratch.
It’s so easy and SO much better than “Manwich” ever thought about being.
It’s finished off with 2 VERY important components.
1) Rouses Brioche Hamburger Buns
2) Classic American Cheese. Yes I can hear all y’all now. You just made this sauce from scratch- and now you top it with plastic?

We recently went to New England and they make everything with American cheese and it enhanced my life!!
I walked away wanting to experiment more with it- as long AS IT IS KEPT IN MODERATION.
That is the key, friends.
Now- let’s get to it.
2 lbs beef or turkey
1 yellow onion (puréed)
1 can tomato sauce
1 onion sautéed and pureed in ninja
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon worsterchire
About 1 teaspoon of balsamic
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Sprinkle of tony’s
About 2 tablespoons of sugar
About 2 teaspoon of salt
Brown your meat and break it apart by using a potato masher. This ensures each bit to be cooked perfectly and uniformly for picky eaters.
brown your onion and purée until smooth.
all ingredients into your meat.
Then, grill bottoms of buns until golden.
American Cheese and you are set, fam. Trust papa. This papi will rock you.
